Neg Blood Test Could I Still Be

ok took a pg bloode test today but it was 5 days before my peorids do which will be this coming 27th,i could of swore i was pg but the nurse told me that my test was in the neg range for numbers,is there anyway i could still be and just don't have enought of the hgc,i'm asking this because with my first child i didnt test a posstive on a pee stick untill she was 13 weeks and the line was light then i went to get the bloode test done and they said i was between 2 - 3 months pg,but my second child i tested posstive at 8 weeks first child was a girl second was a boy,just wanted anyone thought or advice,i'm so sad about results really wanted to be pg so bad,my hubby said will keep on trying.funny thing is i have no cramps or anything that telling me af coming.

Five days before period due is too early to be reliable. Run a home test a week from now if your period is late or light. GL!
