i had a mirena coil put in but havent been on for 3 month nearly now i dnt knw whether i am pregnant as i have headaches my br___ts are tender and keep feeling sick and tierd and have constant heart burn nothing works ive had a pregnancy test at home but it says negative but i have read the coils hormones wil affect the test so would hve to have a blood test to be sure but i dnt knw wether i should. could anyone help me please

The hormones in bc pills and IUDs do not affect pregnancy tests, which look for a different hormone called hCG. Mirena may give you pregnancy-tyoe side effects - read up on the manufacturer's web site. GL!
