Hi eveyone I am new and desperate for help. I am 44 years old and my boyfriend and I are trying to get pregnant. After my dr ran all the necessary test she prescribes Clomid 50mg. My boyfriend has Erectile Dysfunction due to a prostate issue so initially we were artificially inseminating with a syringe. I did not become pregnant the first month because I was not checking ovulation, and we were not trying all five days.
Now we are 100 mg of Clomid and instead of the syringe we used softcups as a cervical cap so we could place the sperm as close to the cervix as possible. What I want to know is if the tiny amount of sperm my boyfriend produced enough? I added egg whites just in case I had cervical mucus issues.
Another issue is that I have one blocked fallopian tube. I wanted to know how often you ovulate on both sides, and if Clomid would increase the odds?
