after having my first sonogram i was told i was 10 weeks which put my date of having gotten pregnant on december 4. They tell you to give or take two weeks as an estimate. But i was told by a friend of mine who had asked her doctor- that after you have intercourse it takes two weeks from that day before you actually become pregnant. i am trying to figure out when i became pregnant? I had intercourse two weeks before the estimated day and two weeks after but none other than that. I am trying to figure out when i got pregnant?

You would have ovulated about two weeks after your last menstrual period. It is around that time that you would have gotten pregnant, generally say within two days before and three days after the date that you ovulated.
