My wife and I just recently found out she was pregnant. Our first doctors visit is tomorrow, we think she might be 3 weeks along??? But she came home from work tonight vomiting like crazy. So much that it was nothing but bile, and it has since turned into diarrhea. I've been ALL OVER the internet trying to find out if this is morning sickness or what....anybody have something like this happen? She is claiming it's food poisoning, but she doesn't have abdominal pain, and there's no blood in her stool.

It could be really extreme morning sickness, or a stomach virus, or food poisoning. Tell her to make sure she takes some fluids (water or gatorade, ice chips if drinking things brings on the nausea) and tell the doctor when you go tomorrow, especially if she hasn't kept any liquids down by then.

I had the worst morning sickness but never came with diarrhea. Sounds like food poisoning for me, too. Lucky you have an appointment for tomorrow to ask.

Russ, my food poisoning came with a LOT of abdominal pain-so bad I wanted to just die after hours and hours of vomiting. It's more likely what JBear suggested, a stomach virus--or morning sickness combined with something else. I wish all husbands could be as concerned and considerate as you've been to bother to do some internet research to help your wife. Your wife is lucky to have you. I hope this pa__ses quickly and that everything's ok.
