My girfriend of 7 months as left me. She was 12 weeks pregnant at the time. She has 50,000 excuses why. She left all her furniture at my house, her mail still comes to my house. When she comes over she calls me honey and lets me kiss her belly when she leaves. She as told friends "I love him, but I can't live with him right now" For the last 4 weeks I've got alot of mix signs from her. Now she says, she don't want to give our child my last name and doesn't want the child to spend the night at my house. She seemed to very controlling right now. Also, she talked to my mother and thought it would be a great idea to have a baby shower with my side of the family (her family lives 10 hours away). Well I agreed to all her demands and we ended up talking 2.5 hours on the phone. That was 5 days ago I haven't heard from her since. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO?

mmm..i'm not sure but I guess I would contact her and tell her that you two really need to sit sit down and have a long talk about the future. If you aren't going to be together, then you need to discuss custody/visitation and child support issues. You seem like a man who wants to be involved in his baby's life, so don't settle for less than what you want. You have a right to be in your child's life.Good luck and let us know how the situation is coming along.

oh..and if she starts to be a control freak..then you'll have to take her to court to get court ordered visitation. You shouldn't have to ask her permission to see your child..its your child too!

Ya Ive heard of hormones but to why she is doing this im not sure.. Is she with anyone else at the moment?? Do'nt let her be like that with you though, it sounds like she is enjoying stringing you on like a puppet and it's not right.. There are not alot of true men like you out there and you want to be a part of your babies life. Like Melissa said don't go for 2nd best, if she doesnt want to be with you then you go for visitiation, you have rights as this babies father. Good luck and keep us posted.
