my wife came home from iraq and she came on the 23 friday 2005 at like 10 pm and then we had s_x on the 24 and she took a pregnancy test on the 7 of jan 06 was she pregnant before she came or can it be possible to have known if she was prenant so soon? please help

You can get a positive test 10 days after conception...sounds like she took a test 2 weeks after y'all had s_x, which is definitely long enough. If you still have doubts, google "pregnancy calculator" and either put in the date her last period started or put in her due date, and it will tell you the date conception was likely. Keep in mind some women have a longer or shorter cycle, meaning she could have ovulated sooner or later than the calculator says.

the best thing for you to do, is go with her to the dr and listen for the due date. He will tell her exactly how many weeks and days she is. Like Jbear said, she can get a positive in 2 weeks. Look up info on conception so you will know how it all works. :)

When they tell you how many weeks you are, they count from the first day of the last period. In other words, if a woman is five weeks pregnant, that means conception occurred 3 weeks ago, not five weeks ago.
