im 16 and 16 weeks pregnant and the father left first he said he wanted and abortion then said it wasnt his after i told him i wasnt gonna get an abortion and im just so alone my family doesnt talk to me anymore cause of this and i just need someone to talk to and just need advice

I am sorry you are going through all of this pain and stress right now. Did all of this happen recently? If so, it may just take a little time for everyone to "adjust". Try to stay possitive for yourself and the baby. Everyone might come around and you may end up with all the support you need. If not, there are lots of resources/support services out there to help!! Do you have friends you can talk to about everything going on? Sometimes just talking it out helps get a new perspective on things. Good luck and know that support is there if you need it!!

the father is 17 be 18 during the summer i just cant belive he would do this to me and his child he needs to step up and be a man now as for my family the really only person i have is my cousin thats 18 be 19 in fall he said he would help me with anything i need and kinda try to be a father figure to the baby he wants to do this i didnt even ask but he is graduating highschool the 23rd and starting college and i think im letting his throw his life away by helping me but he says hes not what do u think should i let him help?

That is really sad to hear that your family doesn't speak to you anymore or anything. I mean 16 is young to begin wiht and to be going through a pregnancy alone is even worse. I have a 6 yr old daughter and I know that if she was young and came home and told me she was pregneat and wanted to keep it I would be there for her every step of the way. Were you using conterception? If you need to talk to anyone tehre is always people in here to talk to, I have an email addy too if you want it to talk.Take care

i know i should corinne but i cant he will be starting college life this fall and i dont want him to be throwing away his life just cause i made a mistake even though the baby isnt a mistake. thanks sunshyne9 i want ur addy if u dont mind

Sorry to hear that you are having to do this alone! Yes 16 is young but everyone makes mistakes and trust me you will learn from this one. I just wish your family was there to support you. I'm 21 weeks pregnant and I'm 20 years old and if I was doing this alone I would go insane. Where do you live at? Just trying to get an idea so maybe I can look for resources in your area.
