IS 11 weeks too early? She seems to have hard bumps and is sucking/chewing on her hands like crazy and is very cranky the last 2 days.

Absolutely, it may not be too early. My son is 13 weeks and has been doing these things for about 3 weeks now. I finally realized his gums hurt, not that he had gas or anything. I hope he gets a tooth son!

No, 11 weeks isn't too early. I'd say that's about when my baby started teething. She's 14 weeks now and I can see the teeth coming in. They haven't broken the skin yet, but I'm sure they will soon. She, too, is always chewing on her hands, toys, blankets, anything she can get her hands on, lol! Anyway, a friend of mine said that she was born with teeth, so I guess it's never too early!

My son has been doing this for 3 months and still no teeth. I thought for sure he was getting them when he was around 12 weeks old.

Unfortunately teething and teeth can be a long process, and to the dismay of many parents, an unpleasant one. It's not constantly bad with us, there are better days than others, but it's been going on for a month and a half. No teeth yet at four mo of age.
