Beechnut Cereal Looks Terrible

Does anyone feed their babies this cereal? It looks like pure cement and tastes like newspaper...Asjani hates it. It's supposed to have DHA and ARA in it...What brand of cereal do you feed your babies? I like the Gerber the best so far. Oh yeah, did anyone give their babies samples of food during the holiday? I gave Asjani some banana pudding.

Here in aus we have heinz rice cereal so thats what i first introduced. Some of our stuff, brands etc differ big time to yours, maybe someone can answer me this, what do they mean when they say they let their baby sleep in the car seat, they make it sound like its happening in the house.. here a car seat is fixed into the car, it doesn't come out haha, so many things i read and have no comprehension as it differs here in aus, like tc asked about a jumperoo, what the heck is that, sorry going off the topic a bit.... Have heard of gerber though, dont think we have it here but they do lots dont they, besides cereal, aren't they a baby brand as well?

sorry my questions and ignorance sounding is aimed more so for us/ canadian.. What the heck is an onsie and crib haha, is that our version of a cot? Sorry toya i have killed ya post but maybe someone can answer this stuff i have always wondered and never asked

Infant carseats come with a base that is affixed to the car - you can snap the carseat in and out of the base by pulling on a handle. A Jumparoo is a stationary jumper that does not attach to a doorway. Gerber also makes baby clothes, yes, as well as a variety of other products; a onsie is an article of clothing, somewhat like a one-piece bathing suit; they usually snap in the crotch. A crib is a baby bed, with vertical bars - probably is the same as your cot. Any other questions? 8^) And, yes, I agree, Beechnut cereal is nasty.

Blake seems to enjoy his Beechnut rice and oatmeal. I mix with b___stmilk or occasionally diluted juice. I gave him gerber once at my Mom's but really didn't notice the difference.

I feed beechnut cereal because Lucas has soy allergy and beech nut puts no soy in their cereals. Also, my nutritionist says it is one of the gentlest brands for their food and it rarely causes a reaction in kids that are prone to allergies. I think it all tastes like c___p!

i use delmonte brand it looks the same as gerber but it costs less if you arent comfortable using beechnut then dont there is other brands out there i gave my dd lots of samples on thanksgiving so did dh,mil, and mil's sister she had cranberrys, stuffing, mashed potaoes, yams, jello, pumkin pie filling, and dd seemed to stuff herself like everyone else sooo cute

We had a sample of Beechnut at first and Amaya loved it! We now can't find it anywhere so we are using Gerber and she doesnt really like it as much (I dont like how light and flakey it is) Also at the Thanksgiving table we gave her some sweet potatoes (she loved them!) mashed potatoes, cheese from mac and cheese, some cherry filling from the cherry cheesecake, and I guess thats about it, other than her starting her sippy cup this weekend with water. She wont drink formula out of it but will drink water (we still dont do juice or any other liquids)

Stephanie, the only place I can find Beechnut cereals is at Save-a-Lot. Not sure if you have those where you live. Exciting about the sippy cup!

Thanks I will look into finding one. I think we have on in the next city over.

Stephanie, I found Beechnut at Albertson's grocery store. Maybe I should add juice to her cereal, because she does not like that Beechnut at all. From what I hear, it is good to only put water in the sippy cup at Amaya's age, because babies often drop the sippy cups and a water spill won't harm anything.

We have Gerber sippy cups and they dont spill no matter what. You can shake them drop them squeeze them whatever and nothing happens. The only way to get the liquid out is to suck on it.

Stephanie, I will definitely be going out to get one of those, because our carpet is off white. How does Amaya like water? Asjani doesn't care for it, but I make sure she gets it.
