Can I Still Breastfeed Whilst Taking Antibiotics Worried

I haven't had it confirmed yet, but I'm pretty sure I have a bladder infection. :( I'm going to see the doctor on tuesday. The problem is, if he puts me on antibiotics, I don't think I can br___tfeed. I'm so worried I'll have to stop feeding my daughter. Did anyone have to stop feeding for a week or two, and manage to get their baby back on the br___t?

I was on Amoxicillin for 10 days and I b___stfed. My doc said I could. It won't hurt your baby. Keep on b___stfeeding.

I had a urinary tract infection with mine right after Emma was born and she put me back on antibiotics while b___stfeeding. It says in my books it's okay too.

Just make sure you tell your doc you're b___stfeeding so they put you on something that's safe.

i was in the same situation when my daughter was 2 months. I was not put on amoxicillin (allergy) with what i was put on i couldnt nurse until 48 hours after the medicine was gone. but it depnds on the medicene you are on your dr. will know what is save to take while nursing so make sure you let them know that you are nursing (i had a difficult time getting my daughter back nursing she still wanted a bottle after) good luck...
