You know what, as proud as I am of my baby's progress, I miss her newborn days when she had that strong moro reflex...when she would wave her arms really fast when upset...I miss that innocent first smile...I miss those things so much...when her eyes would kinda roll when she was sleepy and she would smile in her sleep...She still smiles in her sleep, but doesn't do the eye roll thing anymore. When I look at Asjani now, she looks like a toddler to me now...she does not look like a baby at all! Her progress is so exciting, but she's growing up way to fast...does anyone else feel the same?

YES. Absolutely!!! I have a picture of her from a few days after her birth...her head is the size of my hand...so small and sweet...and now she's doubled her birthweight. *sob*

I miss it so much! Although my little guy is 4 1/2 mos. old.... my daughter will be 4 at the end of this month, and I cry everytime I think about her being a baby! I remember delivering her, how small she was, and how she made me worry all the time! She still makes me worry, but in a different way! Sometimes I get all stupid and think, "yep, time for another one!" I think its just the hormones talking.....

I know that feeling all to well, which probably explains why I have 3 kids under 3 1/2. Lol. :o)

I miss the rooting reflex too. lol. That would be so funny and cute! Now when she sees the bottle coming just holds her mouth wide open and reaches her arms out towards the bottle.

LOL! I am probably the only one who feels this way, but, even though I miss how small he was Lucas was very difficult, I got no sleep for the first 5 weeks and he was colicky! So, I am actually kind of glad he is getting older right now. He smiles and talks and is getting so big. But I cannot stand the thought of him getting too old to cuddle with, or being old enough to have a girlfriend or get married. I do want him to be my baby forever!

Me too.... I get so sad when I think about it. She's growing up way too fast. Its fun to see her do new things everyday, and she's more fun now, but I miss those days where she was so little that she could fall asleep on top of me.

It is such a mixed blessing, isn't it? I love how my son learns something new every day and is taking in the world, but at the same time I miss those days of his newborn body cuddled next to mine :)

I did not have an easy baby...sleep issues, colic, reflux... believe it or not I cant wait for him to be 2...yes two. My first never had the terrible 2's he was so great... I am hoping this one will be the same. I love having conversations with them....Seeing how excited they get when we go to Disneyland, when he sees something new, eating real food. No more diapers.....

Just wait 'till they're in high school. You'll still be able to remember their baby days just as fondly. It seems like just a few months ago that they were newborns, and now they are both teenagers! I can still feel their soft little baby cheeks against mine.

I love nursing Emma cus she'll clench her hands together like she's praying and she looks up at me with those big gray eyes like I'm the greatest thing in the world. I'm going to miss that so badly!!!! She's just a little angel.

My son is 6 weeks, and I cannot wait for some more sleep. When he is awake, he is usually crying. I love toddlers!!!
