My baby was born with thick hair on his forehead,his cheeks, his ears, and mostly his entire body. Does anybody know if this is normal?

It will all fall off, some babies are just hairy that way.

I've heard of that but I didn't see any in the hospital when I was there giving birth, but perhaps I didn't notice. I've heard it is perfectly normal. That is hair like baby animals get downy fur when they are born (they look so cute) and then it falls out later. Don't worry at all about it and be thankful if your baby is healthy.

according to my mom, i looked like a monkey when i was born, black hair all over my back and stomach. But it all fell off within the first 2 weeks. Dont worry, you will see that baby soft skin soon enough!

My daughter was born with a furry line on her back down to her behind. She just turned 3 and she still has a hairy b___t.
