I was wondering if you can use the formula left over from feedings if you put it back in the refrigerater. It says to throw away leftovers but it seems like such a waste.

No, it can get bacteria in it from the feeding and make them sick. I wouldn't do it.

Formula cans say to discard leftovers within an hour, but I've read other places that you can use it up to four hours. You could also make a little less. A scoop of formula is a tablespoon, so to make one ounce instead of two (for example if your baby drinks 3 ounces but you usually make four) use a half-tablespoon measuring spoon.
