How long do women get for mat leave in your respected countries?

In Canada we get a year, with 55% of your pay, although it gets capped at a certain amount.

Here in the US, under the Family & Medical Leave Act, "eligible" employees must be allowed at least 12 wks to care for the birth of a newborn or the adoption of a child. However, the companies do not have to pay you for that time off.
