My son had his 6 month shots today,Myself and dh went to his Dr. appointment. The first one he didn't feel but the other three he did. When he gets his shots I always hold his hand and want to cry myself. My dh wont even look in the direction of us. He had such a tough day all day. He now just fell asleep since 11:00 am and it's now 8:00pm. I even gave him a lavender bath tonight! I always feel like I'm making him smell like a girl when I do that. They say lavender makes you sleep well so thats why I use it from time to time. He weighs 18.6 lbs 75% and 28 inches for height 75%! The good news today is that he can have juice :O) (baby juice) and stage 2 foods. Wow there is a great selection in stage 2. I didn't have a question just thought I would share Tevo Dr.s appointment with you. Have a good night. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE :o)

Hey Steven's Mom. I know what you mean. My baby girl just had her 6 month shots this past Monday and she was so upset when they stuck her. I was too. It is always hard for me to not cry myself. My hubby thinks I am crazy. He is just cold hearted, hehe. Top it off she had a flu shot and it made her little leg sore. Fortunately she went to sleep pretty early that night. Tonight is the night I am having a time putting her to sleep. My baby was 20 lbs even and 27 3/4" long. I think they said she is at 100%....what does the percent mean??? I hope your little fella feels better.

%= percentile, example) Steve is 75% heavier than baby's his age the same as height he was 75%,taller than baby's his age. That's what I have gathered from it all. Thank god he fell asleep. He never goes that long with out a nap. He will be much better tomorrow. Thanks for thinking about him :O)

percentile only means that at 50% you are average. at 75% you are above average and 25% below avg...in reference to other babies...if your child is in the 75th percentile in height then there are only 25% of babies that are taller than him/her and 75% at or "shorter" than the child...

I b___stfeed through the shot process. It really helps. At first they didn't want to let me do it. Now they are suggesting it to other patients. It makes the nurse feel better about giving the shot when there isn't such a scene.
