My daughter is eating quite strange today. She usually eats an 8oz bottle first thing, she only would eat 6 and then cry if we brought it near her. Then she eats 4 hours later, some cereal and then a bottle. She ate her cereal, it took forever but she ate it, and won't touch her bottle. Cries if we bring it near her. Other than that she is fine. Any ideas?

maybe she has an ear infection, my oldest daughter would get them all the time and I always knew it was time for her to go to the dr. when she wouldnt eat. She never ran a fever with them. The dr told me that the sucking on the nipple caused pain and thats why she wouldnt eat. Hope this helps.

She has had 4 ear infections and tubes. So I was kind of thinking the same, but she didn't act as cranky as she did before. So I wanted to check. Took her to the doc though and she is fine. So who knows.

I would bet that she is going through a growth spurt. My daughter did that a lot. She would barley eat for a few days, and then she'd be back to normal. It happened at about 3, 6, 9-10, and 12 months. Hope this helps.

My daughter will have a day when she eats almost constantly, then a day where she eats normally and poops a lot, and then a day where she has almost no appet_te. Then we'll have a week or two that's normal, then the three days again...
