hi girls, chelsey and shelly! denmark is nice today. cool and crisp, but sunny and bright. it's almost dinner time here though, even though you're just getting up. chelsey, jack does look a lot like gabriel i think. i don't have a piczo site yet, but am working on it... jack is good, big and strong. 14 weeks, 17 lbs., 30.5 inches! they grow them big in denmark!! how are you handling that chinook? phew, it must be hot.... i love the name gabriel, by the way.

Good Morning Shelly! I still haven't made it upstairs for my first cup yet! Gabriel went to bed at 8:45 and woke up at 3a.m. Ofcourse, I had went to bed at 1:30a.m., so I was sooooo tired! He finished his bottle, then we decided to sleep on the couch until 5:30. Ofcourse, Dad was getting up for work at that time, so Gabriel decided to wake up and entertain us...and now here I am! Kids are sleeping, and I look like I should be! Gabriel seems to sleep whenever. Night before last he slept from 8p.m to 4a.m., got up to eat, and slept until 8:30a.m.! Can just never tell with that guy! Gonna get my coffee now, I'm hooked on French Vanilla cream....

Supper time already? For some reason that makes me feel like my day is going to be a long one! Its 9a.m. here. definately let us know when you got some pics of the kids. I'm so curious..a bit snoopy too! Hot? Here? Never! They use fancy words like summer and chinook, just to make us Calgarians feel warm! I haven't even looked outside yet this morning, curtains are closed until kids wake up! Alright, must really get my cup of Joe!

denmark is not too into the whole halloween thing yet. it's slowly catching on, but not enough to take the kids out trick or treating yet. :( they have something called fastelavn here in february where the kids get dressed up and beat the hell out of a wooden barrel to get the candy inside. in the old days a black cat would fall out and get beaten, apparently it stood for all things bad. thank god that doesn't happen anymore. chelsey - rik (my 5 year old, possibly autistic son...) loves that noggin website, the little rainman (joke!) is so super good at the number game. really fast, it's creepy! ;-)

Shelly, i'm not sure if my son is autistic or not. he is on a waiting list to be evaluated. i personally think he may have asberger's syndrome and not full-b__wn autism, because he is extremely high functioning and there are no language problems at all. in fact, he's bilingual. he has problems seeing the big picture, and focuses in on very small detail (to his benefit as well as detriment), he is a loner only wanting to play with kids that do things his way, repeating his small phrases and sounds, is obsessed with things that rotate, has an extremely good memory with dates and places and minute details, is very mathematical.....hmmm, what else? i think pretty much all the symptoms of someone with asberger's syndrome. he functions quite well, just needs help in expressing himself in an appropriate way. needless to say, we love him very much. ;-) and no, i don't mind you asking.
