Screaming Baby Is It A Phase

Nadya has discovered her voice in a big way! She loves the sound of it, and makes some really cute noises, but lately she loves to scream. She does all the time when she's playing. I remember some of you had screaming babies, so are they still screaming? I just wondered, because if it continues for a long time, it's going to start being more annoying than cute.

Lucas started screeching and screaming instead of doing his usaul babbling a few weeks ago. It lasted about 3 weeks, and this week he is back to babbling all the time and i have not heard a screech out of him. Hopefully its a phase. Its cute, but we were in a restaurant a few weeks ago and he practically screamed the place down. Everyone thought it was funny, and he knew he was getting attention so he kept screeching, but I was like, "okay, let people eat or they are going to kick us out"!

Sorry Lissi, but Jesse is 16 weeks old (today) and still does that.It is part of them discovering his voice, and finding out with what sound he can get me to him.It is not like he is doing it all the time though.

It's sort of a phase. It will change to babble phase and before you realize it'll be "credit card and cell phone" phase :-)

LOL BBK; and like you are going to tell Anna,"no you can't have it".

Buhaaaahar.... yea right! I have a very hard time saying "no" to women in general. I doubt I'll start with my daughter. LOL

Shelly - November 22

That little girl had you wrapped around her little finger before she was born.I don't think I will be able to tell Jesse no either.(just don't tell Jesse my little confession LOL )

Lissi - November 22

Well, Nadya will have to take no for an answer, cos I have one of those credit cards which sets off a horrble beeping noise! :)

Shelly fortunately for you, all you'll have to buy jesse is a playstation. Boys are quite happy with just that! Girls on the other hand.... I don't even wanna think about it

LOL BBK, don't think YOU are going to get away with just barbies!!! If I remember an earlier post of yours Anna already likes new clothes, right? hehe.

She LOVES new clothes and shopping for them in general, especially at "Armani bambini"; She also checks for bargains at "the children's place too" :-)

Lissi...it is a phase. Asjani started doing that at around 4 1/2 months and now that she's 6 1/2 months she doesn't do it as much. So, hang in there. :)

BBK, I wish all they wanted was a Playstation!! My boys aren't even in school yet and they've got their dad buying them electric trains, extensive video compilations, really pricy toy cars/electric cars, trucks, not to mention all the outdoor stuff boys just LOVE!!! Lissi, my baby is almost 5 months and is talking up a storm. I think he started around 4 months, so hang in there!

I am more afraid of my husband buying toys than Jesse is asking for it.When I was still pregnant we went to toys r' us to look at ba__sinets,strollers etc but my DH wanted to look at remote control cars, battery operated jeeps etc.Jesse has besides the "cute baby stuff" a shelf in his room with Craftsman toy tools and a large Jesse Jsmes collector bike on a stand..

Caleb will be 4 months next week and he is screaming louder than ever. I took him to the zoo yesterday and I think he scared the animals.
