When my daugher turned two months I thought she was teething and I was right. The DR today told me to just give her baby tylonel for it since the stuff you rub on there gums doesnt last longer then a few minutes. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas on keeping her from being so miserable. She cant use a teething ring unless we hold it there for her. Her favioret thing to do is suck and chew on daddys thumb. And Here I was worrying that she would be late doing everything due to being a premie.

Today I noticed two spots wher her bottom front teeth would be. They looked raised up and the gums look red around there but in the spots where the tteth would be its a little palor. Maybe its the white of the teeth sort of showing thru the gums? I rub her paci lightly on her gums there and she queits down. Ive been holding the freezer teething ring in her mouth and she chews and sucks it calms her down and sometimes she will coo aterwards. Hubby said he thought he felt teeth on the top that may come thru. How many teeth can be working there way up at once?

Well, you have to keep in mind that they all have to come up sometime, so several can be working to come up at the same time. And also keep in mind everyone is different. My daughter is 3 1/2 months and no teeth yet, but when I was a baby, I had 4 teeth completely in by the time I was 4 months old! Good luck!
