Trip Down Memory Lane

Chelsey - November 28

I went all the way back in the GP forum to the beginning of July and re-read some posts. I got pretty teary eyed! I was reading about everyone's anticipation about having their babies! Then I was reading when everyone finally did have them! BBK's, Monica, Sh__ly's etc. I just thought it was fun looking back all those months ago, remembering when Lissi came down with PUPPS, Sh__ly was having Gallstone attacks, Tiffani hadn't even started her count down, we were all guessing when Anna was going to be born, and even my own worries about having Gabriel taken out! I think that we have all made some great friends on this site, and all pretty much have been through lots together. I think it's great that we are all still around sharing new stories about our kids and "figuring" things out together! Sorry, just had to be a little sentimental today! ~ I think it's PMS.......

Also, I wanted to add, there was many more posts from others I didn't mention... but it would take me all day to reminise!

Time sure does fly by doesn't it? Man, it sounds cliche, but it really does seem like yesterday. I hope i'm still around on this site when some of you go the baby route again. It's been a fun journey with all of you. :o)

I'd probably cry if I read my posts when I first found out I was pg cus I wasn't a happy camper. Now I can't imagine my life without her and I'd do it all over again if given the choice. I don't even want to go to the gp site cus there's other women out there that felt like me and no matter how much you tell them how wonderful it is, it won't sink in until their little one is here. I had many moms try telling me the same thing but it didn't help until my little Emma came! If I would have known what was coming and how happy she makes me I would have cherished all those miserable pregnant days instead of complain about them.

Yeah, time pa__ses so quickly! I remember how worried you were about Gabriel being delivered early, and BBK being all stary eyed about the birth of Anna, and Tiffani had 1000478784 days to go! Lol! Anyone remember Maddie and her never ending pregnancy? I wonder how she's getting on? I was just getting used to all those friendly chats on GP, when all of a sudden, Nadya came along (Well, eventually!) and then I didn't have time anymore. Heidi, it's nice that motherhood turned out to be rewarding for you. I'm finding it more of a struggle than I thought it'd be. I've met a lot of sweet people on this site (and just a handful of crazies!) and got a lot of reasurance from it.

Yeah,Iremember my gallstone attacks too!!! It's been 2 weeks!!! LOL.But yeah I know what you mean Chelsey. That was a nice idea to go back in time...it's funny,I have a drawer in Jesse's nursery that I call "memory lane" it has his outfits from when he was "little",his size 0-3 and 3-6.He is in size 6-9 and he is not even 4 months.I remember "complaining" about my huuuuge swollen feet, and BBK advicing watermelon, since "that is a natural diuretic",see BBK i remember!! LOL and I paid attention, also I don't want any watermelon for the next 10 years!!!!
