I'm a stay at home mom, too, but I'm really not enjoying it that much. Sometimes I'll go days without leaving the house or talking to anyone over the age of 3 (except on this forum).

I wish I could but financially it's not really possible. What do some of you mom's have to give up to be home? I'm sure it's worth it too!

i am - but i work from home too. money is better than it used to be, praise to God, but only because hubby has gotten a second part-time job landscaping, so we have some monthly contract $$$ rolling in. i love being at home and wouldn't change it for the world, though i often do miss "adult conversations" and such. but i could never live with myself if i had to miss my kids growing up - and all the strange and quirky things they do all day!

I am, but have only done it for 4 weeks since that is how old my baby is. Right now, I am not loving it because it is so hard, but I anticipate that will get better. I am also plannning to get into some mom-baby group and a bf'g support group, I may start working sporatically again in the spring, to occa__sionally get out of the house and talk to grown-ups. Financially, we can swing it on my dh's income at this time, athough he is looking for a new job and may need to take a pay cut.

I am, I'm a stay at home single mum! and i love every minute of it, i love being at home everyday watching him discover the world. Would hate to be working and missing all the babies first milestones e.t.c..

I'm a stay at home mom to one 4 month old girl. :) My husband's in the military, and they pay alot of the bills we would ordinarily have, like rent.

I am a stay at home mom of two boys three and half and 9 weeks. Although my older son goes to preschool so I only have the baby home with me most days. I am really enjoying myself as I worked when my first son was born. My husband works two jobs to allow me to stay home. I feel guilty but he wants me home too.

I am a stay at home mom . My daughter is 4 months old and I love being able to take care of her all day. My husband and I waited to have a baby until he got this great job so he made enough so I could stay home. Sometimes it is hard to go for days without leaving the house. Just a simple trip to the grocery store by myself is like a vacation. But I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Amaya's mommy aka Stephanie - December 5

I am a SAHM. I love it but again there are those times when she wont take a nap or she is really fussy that I just wonder.... I love being able to watch her grow, she is 7 months now. I do work part time, I work 3 nights a week from 5-9 doing surveys for a local company, it gives me enough money to buy groceries and do whatever shopping I want to do. Dh stays home with her on those nights. He has a very good 8-5 kind of job and makes pretty good money (it could always be better I suppose) There are some days that I wish I were working full time (before we had Amaya I was in school so we have never had 2 full time job incomes) but then the thought of putting her in daycare breaks my heart. I think maybe at a year I will put her there and get a job. I dont know though.

I'm staying at home with my son, who is now 4 1/2 months. I enjoy it and plan on staying with him (and hopefully one more child in a couple of years). I'd like to be with him until he starts school and then get a job. I do have those crazy days when I just need to get out for a bit, but most of the time I am perfectly content. :)

I too am a stay at home mom. I have 3 little ones all under the age of 3 1/2. I love staying at home with my kids, but like most other stay at home moms (sahm), I long for some adult conversation. We sacrifice some of the finer things for me to be able to stay home with the kids, but I know that the sacrifices are short lived and the benefits my kids receive by having me here with them, make it all worth it. One day when they're all in school, I plan on getting a part time job, but until then, i'm trying to savor the sweetest years of my kids life. :o)

I too am a SAHM. I have four children ages 10, 8, 3, and 2 months. Financially it is fine as my husband makes enough money so I can stay home and look after everything. Emotionally it can get stressful at times but like you I absolutely love it. I always joke that when everyone is in school full time we'll need a puppy just so I can have a "baby" at home, lol. But seriously I love my job and I hope everyone else does as well.

it has been so nice to hear your stories..my boys are 4 and 2 in a half. i have always been a sahm and i love it...financially it can get really hard and i wonder if i should work, but you know i figure i have the rest of my life to work..and only once to watch them grow. i am ttc #3 and i plan on being home until my children all go to school and then i plan on going to school to be a school teacher...i love to hear other peoples stories. i know it is not easy but i feel like i have the hardest and most rewarding job i will ever have in my life...good luck to all of you!!

I am a SAHM. I love it. I hated working although I have to admit now that Natalee is here I wish I could go to work for a couple of hrs every once in a while. lol. It can be challenging but I wouln't trade it for the world! I can't wait to have our second baby. I actually want to home school our children now(I am thinking about it) so I'm not sure if I will ever go back to work! Financially-my husabnd makes enough for us to pay all bills, save a little and enjoy SOME spending money and I'm good enough w/ that. We just try to live a little below our means(I think). But still enjoy life.

i'm a stay at home mom now. i love it! i wouldn't trade it in for my old job. i'm still on a leave from work, but i don't plan on going back. i will miss the benefits of my job, but raising my 4 month old daughter and i hope one more child is worth it. i get out alot and my husband's office is 5 minutes aways so he watches her while i work out. he has his own practice, so it's easy for him to set his own hours. for now, i'm perfectly content to stay at home. i'm also an older mom-(40), so i've done everything i've wanted to do as far as careers go. this is the next chapter of my life.
