Hey all, my baby is due in April and I will be starting either law or grad school for my MSW next September. I am a bit nervous about the pressure of school and a little baby. Anyone doing this now?

MSW meaning masters of social work? I am beginning the program next summer, my baby will be about 6 months old. But I am also doing part time... Where are you from delia?

i'm not yet, but i plan on it. i want to apply for an MLS/IS (library/information science) distance learning program. i'm a bit nervous as well, but i'm only going to be a part-time student so i'm hoping it won't be as bad. oh and my baby will be 6 weeks old tomorrow! :-)

I am half through my MA and will start back again in Jan after taking off 2 semesters (May to Dec) to have the baby. My husband will be on parental leave from Jan. until August. It was very challenging working, going to school, and being pregnant and I know it will be again now that she's born. It is possible though.

I worked full-time and took 1-2 cla__ses per semester when my daughter was little. It was really tough. Nothing a little therapy and prozac can't help, though!

thanks for your responses, yes I am going for my masters in social work if I am not accepted into my local law school but I will go full time and hopefully not work, or maybe part time from home if possible. I am from NY.
