Amaya is almost 7 months and weighs about 18lbs.

should i be concerned? i see all of the weights of babies, and my baby will be 4months on dec4th and she weighs 12.12lbs. she eats alot, is that too skinny for a baby?

How big was she at birth? My girl's only 3 pounds heavier...

all babies are different, as long as she is gaining there should be no problem. I know a baby that is almost 5 month and he weighs a little over 13lbs.

i hope she's ok. she's happy, she smiles all the time and she looks good. her skin looks beautiful and she's never been sick-knock on wood. my husband and i are small ppl as well. so i hope she's ok at almost thirteen pounds.

Take a look at the growth chart, http://snipurl.com/kdi2 you can print it and plot it. She's within the normal range, but it does depend on her birth weight.

i'm sorry, i did see that she is within normal range. i was just a little worried since all of the other babies seemed so much bigger than her.

You basically go to the four month (horizontally, after 3) and work your way up to her weight. Then follow that curve back to see if it comes close to her birth weight. In any case, she's fine.... sort of in the middle actually

Emma's 7 wks old and weighs 9 lbs 15 oz.

I will find out on friday,but Jesse was 14 pounds 3.5 weeks ago,he was 13 weeks then and he is about 25 inches tall.He was 20 inches at birth and his weight was 6.7 pounds,so he caught up pretty good.

my daughter just turned 4 months old on monday, she weighs 12lbs.9 oz and is 26 in. The dr. said she is in the 95th% for her height 75% for her weight so she is doing fine he said, I am b___stfeeding so that may have something to do with it, we are 100% satisfied with all she is doing and how she is growing, the dr said she is doing things a 5 month old does so we are thrilled.

Well i'm really glade to get so much response from mothers..thank u..my son is 11weeks yesterday in his appointment he weight 10lbs,26 and half inches...he is not gainning much but getting taller..he was 6lbs when he was born and 20 inches.

wow, my kid is a string bean! but according to my own baby book that my mom kept, she weighs the same as i did at that age - 16 mos, about 20 pounds. she can't even wear 12 month pants cuz her waist is too tiny. i have to take everything in.
