Lucas got his pic with Santa a few weeks ago! It turned out super cute. He did not smile, but didn't cry. It'll probably be after the holidays before I get a webpage up, but will put it in there when I do. I have read they eat more solids once they are around 6 mos. Peaches gave Lucas gas, so I was taking a break for a few days. I still need to do squash, applesauce and the greens with Lucas. Bananas made him break out and constipated him. How is caleb doing with his solids?

caleb has only had the squash, sweet potatoes and peaches. I could not find carrots in stage 1. He seems to like food more than his milk so I have to limit the solids. Caleb did the same thing with the santa picture, he didnt smile or cry....but he does look kind of mad.

That's cute! Lucas had the "deer in the headlights" look. Cracked me up. Carrots and pears were his most favorite. I was going to start giving him some fruit and oatmeal in the mornings and veggies in the afternoon once he is 4 mos, but maybe that is too much!

fruit and oatmeal is really yummy, I remember with my first I tasted it and it was really good. I have not given any to Caleb in a long time because he still get cereal in his last bottle. Do you still give lucas cereal in his bottles?

Yes, I give him 2 tsp per 4 oz. It still works real well for him. But even though his zantac was adjusted he has been spitting up a lot lately. I think it may be the reflux peaking like the docs said it would. Doesn't seem to be bothering him. I don't give him extra cereal either because I figure he gets it in his bottles. But I thought he may like oatmeal and fruit mixed together. It is yummy : )

Caleb doesnt seem to have the reflux anymore but I am afraid to stop giving him the cereal at night because he sleeps so well. This weekend I was out looking for highchairs but could not find what i needed. I have to buy two one for grandmas and one for me. So it has to be less expensive and it needs to recline because he is too young to sit up straight ...I think. What type of highchair does Lucas have?

I have an evenflo envision. It's pretty basic and was on the low end of the price spectrum. I figured he was only going to eat in it. It was about 50.00. It reclines 3 positions and the height adjusts. So far I really like it. Sometimes I put him in it and roll him around while I am doing dishes or bottles. He likes being at my height.

$50 is a very good price...I will have to look into that.

I got it at Babies R us. I just didn't see the need for all the ones with toys and stuff. He has plenty of toys!

I am going to look at their website...I dont want any with toys either. Just as long as it reclines I am happy.
