Mu husband got into the hunting sport for the past two years. He plans to take him hunting when he gets older. For me, I really don't want him to do that from a young age. I'm not in favour of the whole idea of guns and killing for fun. What about from a child's point of view-Killing bambi. Its just too young and with all the violence that's going on in school these days it just worries me. Just knowing guns are in my home or at the cottage bothers me. Its just not something I want to encourage. If I lived on the farm or I had to do it to eat and live, well that's different I think.

UGG! YES MY DH IS A DEER HUNTER MOSTLY. THE CABIN IS 4 1/2 HRS AWAY AND NO WOMEN ALOUD DURING HUNTING TIME. HE HUNTS WITH HIS BROTHERS AND COUSIN BUT STILL! HE IS GONE 4-6 DAYS THEN COMES BACK AND JUMPS RIGHT BACK INTO WORK RRR SO ANNOYING! I NEVER HAD HUNTING IN MY FAMILY BUT HE HAS FOR 27 YEARS AND HE SAID NO ONE IS GOING TO TELL HIM HE ISN'T GOING TO GO. WE HAVE 2 CHILDREN TOGETHER AND I AM PREGNANT DUE IN JULY WITH OUR 3RD TOGETHER THEN I HAVE A DAUGHTER PREVIOUS AND HE HAS A SON AND DAUGHTER PREVIOUS. AGES ARE 15 HIS SON 8 HIS DAUGHTER 6MY DAUGHTER THEN OURS ARE 3SON 1 DAUGHTER AND THIS ONE AGAIN DUE IN JULY. THE THING THAT MAKES ME MAD IS I AM NOT ABLE TO GO OUT OVER NIGHT UNLESS I WOULD TAKE THE KIDS HE WON'T WATCH THE KIDS FOR ME TO GO DO SOMETHING WITH A FRIEND FEMALE OF COURSE BUT NOT FAIR ALTHOUGH I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN AFTER OUR FIRST YEAR... THE ONLY COMPENSATION I HAVE IS I GET HIS BANKING CARDS WHILE HE IS GONE SO I DO A LOT OF SHOPPING TO KEEP BUSY. my dh got a 8 pointer (its getting mounted ) he was able to come home where he hunts is 45 min. away but we didnt see much of him fil hunts with dh so mil and i did some shopping and went visiting and wached movies and had to run to dh's aunts house (near where he hunts) and take pictures of his buck but the season is done today (YAY!!)

Shanna he is gone 4 to 6 days and you aren't allowed to go out with a fem friend overnight. Yet you say noone is telling him he isn't allowed to hunt. Do you know how short this life is. We are all different but why would you let someone tell you what to do to the extent that you can't go out without the kids and he won't mind them. My partner recently left me and my baby so we all struggle to some degree but there is no way a man would forbid me from going out with a girlfriend. Shanna sorry to say thats not fair for you and you obviously can't mind cause u compensate by having his cards but to look after so many kids, i think its time u took that freedom especially since some of these kids are his from a previous relationship and went out for an evening.. Just my opinion...
