my son just turned 1 and was given a car bed for his birthday. is he to young to go in it. he cant fall out.

He won't fall out? Then if he'll go to sleep in it, and won't just play,(because who wouldn't want to play ina car bed!!!), then no he's not to young. I waited until my daughter was 18 months old before she got a "big girl bed". It was around the time when she found out how to climb out of her crib!

The only disadvantage to switching from a crib to a toddler bed is that the baby can't get out of a crib. Then they learn to open doorknobs and then you wake up all the time with a kid in your bed...A toddler bed is safe, but the crib is probably easier until he learns to climb out.

at the moment we live in a small house 1 bedroom so hes in our room anyway. and he does wake up at 5 every morning and climb into my bed very annoying cant wait til we get a bigger house!!!!
