I like going out to Dinner with hubby one or 2 times a week, I like to paint, I like to come here ( I guess is still mother-related) and I like to shop.. lately I've been doing online shopping only B/c its hard to take this little booger to the mall!

Toya every state is different with the amount of hours you need. In Arkansas you need 1500 hours so it took me 1 year, I started in March of 04 and graduated in March 05. I am going back in Jan or Feb to get my instructors liscense and will graduate around May. Check on the internet for the hours for your state!

I never really had any hobbies before, but I just started playing Fanasty Basketball (NBA) on Yahoo. My husband plays as well and I love it. It does not take much time to set up my players and being that it is done over the computer I can hold Danny on my lap while doing it. (Just like I am doing now)

Stephanie, I have not checked into the hours needed for a license in Nevada...but will definitely do that. I also need to check into some financial aid. Have you been to any hair shows? That's one thing I am looking forward to. Don't know if you watch the Tyra Banks show but she did a whole show on hair design and it was very interesting!

I do watch it! I also really like makeover shows. With cosmotology you learn, hair skin and nails. You will learn facials, waxing, acrylic nails, manicures, pedicures, hair (color, texture, cuts) It is all very interesting. For Nevada you need 1800 hours It would probably take about a year and a half depending on how many hours you went a day or a week. I also think in Nevada you can learn just hair, in Arkansas you can learn just nails or just skin but not just hair. If you want my opinion you should do all three b/c you have so many more career opportunities. Good luck and if you need any help finding where to go to get info just let me know!
