Oh Wow Was She That Small

I went to see my cousin's new baby today (2 days old), he is 6 pounds 7oz, my daughter was born jan 8th 2005 and was 5 pounds 14 ounces.. but I realized when holding my new cousin that I didnt remember my daughter being that small... at all... anyone else have this experience... am i losing my mind>?!?!?! lol

Well, my baby was 8lbs 2oz at birth...my baby was definitely never that small. :)

Oh yes!! I went shopping with my daughter her first week "out" and everyone kept stopping me to just goggle at her. They kept saying how tiny she was. I'm thinking "hey she ain't that little!". My Peanut is almost 14 weeks now and I saw a three week old little boy who was the same weight as my daughter at birth and he looked sooo tiny!! He was so pretty and perfect; now I understand all the attention. :) My daughter looked huge compared to him!!

I kept one of the newborn-sized daipers to remind me just how small she was at birth. And those suckers were big on her!

My daughter was born weighing in at 4lbs 7ozs but she dropped down to 4lbs. She was a tiny little one and people keep telling me how small she is now and I look at them like there crazy because she seems so big to me now. She weighs over 8lbs Im guessing (she doesnt get weighed till 4 months) But back in the NICU there were 1lb babies and they were tiny

I did the same thing Katharine. But instead of newborn I kept one of her premi diapers that were big on her.
