There is no excuse ever to drink drive. If I knew someone was doing it I would report it. If it was any of my kids doing that I would not be embarra__sed! I would be angry! I would call the police on them. It is not only illegal but down right dangerous. Not only to themselves but everyone else.

Lesley, he was my friends brother. I got to hear the story after the fact. Calm down. I would also report it if I knew it was happening. I was friggin 18 and my friend told me.

Hey does anyone think it's screwed up that my dad gets away with driving drunk ALL the time? I swear he goes through at least 3 6 packs a day and still drives. We live in a tiny town and even when someone reports it, the cops don't do anything!! They will pull him over and he will be half pa__sed out in the seat yet they still allow him to drive away! God I hate this little hick town!

My Grandpa got a DUI a few years ago! Served him right! All the drinking and driving he did for years and years finally caught up with him, and kicked his a**!

That's terrible, Narcissus! You know what my husband WANTED to do today? Leave our 2 kids home by themselves while we took a walk with the baby! We were on our way out so the baby could have an afternoon nap and the 2 older ones didn't want to come. My oldest said he'd watch his little brother and make sure he didn't jump out any windows or play with scissors, and my husband agreed! What a dork! I mean, I do trust him, and he is overly cautious and sensible but still! Men.... 8-I

Wow...I guess I'm luckier than I thought in my DH...he drives me nuts cause of how overprotective he is of Renity...we left her with a sitter yesterday, and he called no less than 6 times to check on her. We were only gone 4 hours!!!!

My dh was protective of Hailey when she was a baby (not so much now), and Gabriel he isn't protective at all! He says it's because "the human nature is to protect the females, and to teach the males survival"!!!! What a crock of sh*t! I told him he was an idiot.

LOL-Jamie, I was cracking up as I read your post! That is exactly how my DH is with Kailey! Sometimes I go crazy when he is being so protective! He won't even let me leave her with HIS mom-who is great-so we can go to a movie! Once we left her with her to run to the store (20 minutes) and he called three times to make sure she was alright!

Sorry, Lesley, I thought you a__sumed I was okay of dd. -- I think what happened with my dh is he a__sumed if he DID NOT get out to help me, he was going to catch hell for being lazy. I don't think I am that awful. Common sense is the only thing he needs and we can have a happy marriage!

Now that sounds like me!!! That would scare me too Narcissus. (I keep F'ing up your name! I was going to call you Narc for short but ummm that prolly wouldn't work, huh?) I was at a gas station a few months ago. It was just me and my baby. After I pumped I go to get the baby out of the car to take her with me (OF COURSE). A lady that was parked at a pump behind me told me to run on in that she didn't mind watching my baby. I just replied, no that's ok. She could have been a whacko!
