Don't know, but my daughter has been able to have control of her neck since she was about 8 weeks old. Now she's almost 12 weeks and can hold her head up too.

I would say yes that is normal. Amaya was holding her head up from the time she was born. She has had complete head control since she was about 6-8 weeks. She has been sitting since about 4 months. She will be 5 months on the 9th :( and can sit completely on her own! Still no crawling though...

Tahlia always had a strong neck right from day one, but she only rolled over for the first time yesterday (she'll be 5 months tomorrow). She can only sit if she's supported. And no crawling yet. But she can move on her back to wherever she wants to get to! I know everyone says it but, every baby is different =>
