Such A Good Baby

Okay I'm trying not to brag but I read how lots of babies here don't sleep well or are colicy and so on. Does anyone have a really easy baby? In past forums some women said stress during pregnancy could cause a colicy baby. That's not my case and I was a basketcase while pg!!! I think Emma read my vibes cus I'd never cared for an infant and was scared out of my mind but mother nature helped me big time cus it's just been a walk in the park and everything is coming so natural. She nurses very well, no issues there. She had some gas problems for a few weeks but that straightened itself out with eliminating dairy from my diet. She's 8 wks old and she goes to sleep if I lay her in her crib awake within 10 minutes and doesn't cry at all. When she wakes up at night to nurse she just sort of grunts and groans and won't cry. I nurse her in bed and we both fall back asleep in bed. In the morning she'll lay in her crib watching her mobile while I quick shower and get dressed. When we go shopping she sleeps the entire time or just watches me. Have I just been blessed or what? She only cries if she's gassy or hungry and quiets down the minute she gets what she wants. I'm waiting for it to all fall apart but it's been such an easy 8 wks! I can't believe how scared I was! Anyone else feel this way? I'm sure my daycare mom will welcome this quiet girl with open arms! Ha ha!

Ya know my baby is just like that. She has always been so quiet and very calm and mellow. She is now 7 months and is crawling but can sill entertain herself. She occasionally has a "bad" day but for the most part she is the best baby ever! She has been sleeping through the night since she was 3 weeks old and has recently started waking at night but just for her paci but she is still the best ever! I am actually thinking of putting her in daycare because she is so calm and I just want her to go before she gets too "attatched" to her daddy and me.

I gotta say i was blessed too, she was quiet in my tummy, easy at the hospital and has been a walk in the park ever since, she used to sleep til 9, 10.am, maybe cause it was winter, then went to 8ish, now im afraid its between 6 and 7, she can amuse herself for quite a time, puts herself to sleep, talks and coos to her mobile and toys before doing so, is very sweet and only cries if deliriously tired, hungry, pain, the usual, she also began sleeping thru at 5 weeks of age. I do read about mums who have it hard and maybe god knows i wouldnt have coped having it hard hah. I do have moments with her but its usually if she hasnt burped properly or so at bed time and that would be it, hope it stays this way for us heidi.

My 5 month old is a gem! Rarely cries, and will sit and play, or talk until he gets sleepy! He's never had problems falling asleep, or feeding. He's been sleeping throught the night for 2 months or so, and when he did get up, he was a perfect gentleman about it! He doesn't really cry when hungry or needs a diaper change, he usually just whines a little, and grunts. I truly am blessed with a little mouse! My 4 year old, well, let just say she is his total opposite, and always has been! Lissi ~ Hang in there, Honey! Nadya is bound to give you some peace, one day!!!

She's so funny and cute, but she's very willful, and already throws tantrums if she doesn't get what she wants! I'm hoping she gets it all out of her system early, and she'll be a perfect angel by the time she's 2, round about the time your kids will be driving you nuts! Lol! :)

Well, she may be naughty sometimes, but boy, is she ever beautiful! I just love looking at pictures of her! Terrible Two's weren't half as bad as the Ferocious Four's!

The real Lissi - December 12

The fours are ferocious?! God help me! Is there ever an age where children are just nice? Lol!

If i may brag as well,Jesse has been a pretty easy baby,of course from time to time he will be fussy for a day or two.But now he goes to sleep on time, doesn,t fuss in the morning,I wake up b/c I can hear him cooing and he is playing, gives me the biggest smile as a good morning,I can go and prepare his bottle and my coffee, and he just waits until i pick him up and change his diaper. He also loves to ride the car and he likes to go shopping.he is such a sweet happy baby!!!

When Nadya wakes up she makes this really funny face. Her mouth goes all pinched like she's sucking on a lemon (must get a picture of it!) and she say's "moom, moom, moom" as she's crying. If she doesn't get any milk within 2 or 3 minutes, she turns into that kid from the exorcist!

Renity is a super easy baby, most days. She eats and naps like clockwork, and is so much fun to play with when she's awake. Of course, my pregnancy was hell, so maybe it's just her way of making up for it?

You are blessed!! I had the same ease with my son, but now that he is 8.5 months, he is very mobile and wants to interact with everything. It's not that he is so difficult but he wants his way more than ever. Still, I have a cutie who behaves when we go out in public. He is such a good boy when we go shopping:)

I'm jealous too! But for all the troubles my little devil has given me and keeps giving me, I still wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. All he has to do is smile at me, with his big, toothless grin, and dimple cheeks, and I can't remember what he did to aggravate me!LOL! And, I guess I can sleep when I'm dead. Its highly overrated, yeah right!LOL!! : )

The real Lissi - December 12

Lol at Rachael! :)

wow, and i thought i had it easy, Jasmin sleeps from 10 untill 7-8 with one night feed, she sleeps when i go out, shopping etc, but wont put herself to sleep like emma, i have to feed her to sleep or let her suck my finger, Jasmin also only cries when ga__sy hungry

monica - December 12

Lissi, my 5 year old was a perfect angel until now at 5. He never had the terrible twos and he just played by himself with his toys and never got himself into any trouble...he also never had a tamtrum, never through himself on the floor. I dont understand and I think its because he has a new baby brother that now he is acting like a little boy. All kids are different you might get lucky and have an angel for a long time....until she becomes a teeager :)

Toya - December 12

Yep, I was a blessed one. Asjani has slept through the night since 3 months old...Breastfeeding was extremely easy with her...she never had problems with gas, colic, or anything...When we traveled on the airplane everyone kept coming up to us saying, "You have the best baby in the world." I take Asjani everywhere!!!
