2 1 12 Cm Dilated And Cervixed Thinned Out

I was 2 1/2 cm dilated three days ago and my cervix was almost thinned all the way out. The doctor didn't give me any percent of effacement. How much longer do I have. He said I would have had him by now.

Everyone's different. Labor is something unexpected. If your doctor said you should have had him by now, that's just an educated guess.

Effacemant is thinning, you could have your baby anytime, or you could be waiting 2 weeks it really just depends. My water broke and I was only 1cm dialated so as you can see everyone is different.
