I am 37 weeks pregnant and I went to the hospital 11pm saturday night and was monitered. I was told i was 2cm dillated but the contractions were irregular. They kept me in for 2 nights and i was still having contractions late at night but again they were irregular. Any sugeestions or advice for me?

Hi. I am going on 36 weeks pregnant and this is my second child. My first pregnancy reminds me of yours now. When I was pregnant last time the only time that I had contractions was at night and they were very irregular. This happened to me for about a week. It was like everynight was a repeat of the night before. Then, like a miracle I woke up in the middle of the night like always and instead of irregular contractions they were so consistent that I could time them at 3-5 minutes apart. We went to hospital and I was already 5 centimeters. About 5 hours later--I had a beautiful baby boy.
Maybe yours will be like mine. Just give it a few days. You're having Braxton Hicks right now--the real ones will be there soon--TRUST ME!! Hope I've Helped!!
