I just got back from my doctor & i'm just terrified that i may hold up to 42 weeks. He said nothing has changed sense the last check up which was a week ago. I want it to happen at least 40 weeks. I mean this is my first pregnancy. I guess what my question is... can my cervix dilate in one day or what? i mean he said she has bairly dropped. I want to go into labor so bad. BECAUSE I AM TIRED OF BEING PREEEEGNANT.

hey, blah420x i had my lo just 5 weeks ago and i was just like you, with each visit nothing had changed until my last visit at 39 weeks and then at 40 weeks and 2 days i went into full b__wn labor and had him just 9 hours later. i felt just like you, thought he would never come. good luck!!

I have heard that just b/c nothing shows one day in the internal the next you could start dilating and even go into full b__wn labor.
