About After Delivery Belts

Hi i am a first time mom in my third trimester, without any elders to help/advice me. I just found out that the tummy won't go in immediately after delivery. i have heard that people use some kind of belt. Help me with this cauz i don't want to have a big tummy after delivery... Thanks in advance....

Never heard of that - your uterus doesn't contract back to its previous size immediately, it takes weeks. It makes sense though, b/c it took us 9 months to get this big, so why wouldn't it take a while to go back down? Plus you won't lose all the weight while at the hospital, just baby plus some fluid.
