Hi ladies, my name is San and i am due my 3rd baby in 2 days. As my last pregnancy was 8yrs ago i could do with some advice as my memories are a bit hazy. I had a show 11 days ago which was really bloody,however for the last week i have been getting very sharp pains in my lower back and lower stomach. They last for about an hour on and off and for the past week ive been going the loo a few times a day for a bowel movement. What i want to know is i can remember labour pains as a very dull ache like period pains but these are sharp as well and baby moves like a break dancer. Does anyone have any idea if this pain could be any signs? thanks.

I have the same pains, but i'm just like you I'm not sure if they mean labor is still weeks away or if they are just around the corner. My mother says the it is just your body preparing for labor but I always want to know when it is going to happen.

Hi Robin, bet you also feel like you have been kicked underneath like me. As im due in 2 days ive been told i can go up to 10 days past before they induce me. My last children were 8lb and 9lb and i ended up with a 3rd degree tear in my bowel. Ive been offered a c sec but i dont want one of those. Just hope baby isnt as big but up to now ive got to have an episiotomy which i had with my first baby. Ive tried the pineapple,s_x,walking and even bouncing on my ball. Got go to my last antenatal on thurs for a date. Good luck yourself your not the only one walking like a cowboy and having to do a 5 point turn in bed just to change position. San.
