Anyone Used Nubane During Natural Labor

I would like to have a natural birth, but want something to take the edge off. Our hospital uses Nubane. Has anyone else used this? How do you feel? I know it effects your central nervous system and wanted to know how "out of it" you actually felt?

I used it with each of my deliveries. It takes the edge off. It makes you feel kind of drunk. It lasted 2 hours got me through hard labor and then I was ready to push.

I received Nubain during labor & it just made me feel very sleepy, but I went from 7cm to 10 & pushing her out in 45 min's. It did not relieve any pain for me but did relax me. Which is why it probably only took 45 min's !

nubane didnt releive any pain for me either. It did make me feel very drunk and relaxed between contractions tho

I had Nubain w/ my first and 2nd births. The first time it just made the pictures on the wall paper dance and do nothing for my pain, the second time it made me sleepy, talk slowly, and stare at the walls for a few minutes. It wasn't woth it for me because it did nothing for the pain.
