Anyone Working From Home

This is my first child and I'm very nervous about going back to work. I have no one dependable to leave her with besides putting her in daycare, which I don't think I'm comfortable doing just yet. I was wondering if anyone worked from home or had any advice that would help. I need to work, I get far to bored without it and we certainly need the income, but I just want to be able to be with my babygirl :)

Hi Ashley, nice name lol but I work at home right now until after the baby is born, and I have a 2yr old. I do Ebay it takes a little bit to get started but after awhile I was making pretty good money.

I've been on e-bay, but I only tried to sell a wedding dress :) Is that all you can do or is there more to it? Thanks for the reply ~ I really appreciate it!!

Ashley - wedding dresses arent a big seller as far as I know but what I have found to sell is antiques, vintage stuff, baby stuff, name brand clothing. If you want some tips here you go. Go to rummage sales, garage sales, good will and auctions. I think I made the most money on old post cards. you can look up on ebay what is "hot" and also what I would do is alot of research, see what other items like yours have gone for and start your prices out low. I only make between $300-500 a week but I only list about 20-30 items a week. This is the only stay at home job I have found that actually works lol besides starting your own business.

Wow, thank you for the tips Ashlie! My husband has his own mobile detailing business, but he just started it here in Florida this year. Previously he had a shop in Seneca, S.Carolina. Things are starting off a little slow here but I only need about 3-500 a week (for right now anyway). My mom likes to go to garage sales a lot and I'm sure I've got some things around here that might sell on e-bay, maybe I'll give it a try :) All of the other stay at home jobs require some sort of investment ranging anywhere from $50 and up and then of course there is no guarantee. Thanks again, I really appreciate it :)
