I am 37 weeks pregnant and have been feeling bad off and on for a about 5 days. I feel nauseated, dizzy, and extremely tired. I also feel crampy like I need to go to the bathroom and feel alot of pressure down low (not as much today). My baby dropped when I was 32 weeks and at my 35 week dr appt she said I was 90% effaced 1cm dialated and he was at -1 station. She ordered an ultrasound to confirm weight (6lbs). She asked if I was still working and said that since I have a desk job she would allow me to continue to work. I go to the doctor today and was just wondering if my feeling so poorly is a sign that I may go into labor soon? or do I just might have a flu bug? I don't want the baby to come early unless he is ready but I am pretty miserable.

it may be impending labor i started feeling like that yesterday and last night i was in hospital w/ irregular contractions and i dilated a cm while i was there in a matter of like 30-45 mins so i have been 1 cm for 3 weeks so i'm glad for the progress

jsnider...I am currently 36weeks and have been feeling the same way. I have not had an internal done, but my dr. did tell me that the extreme fatigue, dizziness etc were all signs that "the end was near." I also have had a lotof pressure down low...in fact I have trouble walking and have had to take it easy the last few days. I am hoping I can make it to at least 37weeks.

im 37 weeks and feeling like that lol so it must be "normal" i just want him to come out already im actually fed up with being pg but hey who isnt at tthis point.

Hi there! Sorry that you feel so bad. I too have been feeling like c___p. I will be 38 weeks on Monday. I was feeling so tired, then today I had a big burst of energy and finally did some house cleaning. My baby (#3) dropped around 35 -36 weeks. I go to the bathroom constantly also. I went to the doctor today and she said that I was at 4cm. I was really surprised, because on Tuesday I was only 2cm. So she made sure that I knew that she was the on call doctor for the weekend. I have a feeling my little boy is coming soon. She said she didn't think that I would need to schedule another OB appointment. So I don't know if feeling terrible is a sign of approaching labor, but for me, it sure has been working. Good luck to you and I hope that you start to feel better soon!

I had my doctor appt yesterday and she said I'm still 1 cm with baby now at 0 station and that she thinks I may have just caught a stomach bug. She gave me something for nausea and told me to take today off of work and rest. I asked her if my feeling so bad could be a sign that labor would be soon and she said she just thinks I am sick. So I guess only time will tell if baby is coming. Thanks for all you input. I hope you all start feeling better too.
