I am 38 weeks pregnant and my baby is moving more than ever. She moves so much it makes me hurt. I am so uncomfortable and I'm so over being pregnant. Does this mean it is almost over??? Also, if I ask the doctor can she induce if there is nothing wrong and I'm healthy, or will they just flat out tell me no??

You could try to ask her but most docs won't induce early unless there is a problem and the baby needs to come out.

I asked for an induction at 38 weeks with my first & they agreed. Tell your doc its for the benefit of your mental health.

My stomach hurt when my baby kicked too. I could sit in the recliner and watch the kicks, at the same time of having really bad pain.It looked like aliens were getting ready to pop out of my stomach. Felt like it too. My mom would freak out thinking I'm ready when she was around. Not long after, my doctor stripped the mucus plug, I lost it, and went into labor. But I think you have to be at least 1cm dialated before they'll do that.
