I'm 40 weeks 6 days... Today i have been experiencing strong lower back pains throughout the day. Not just constant, they stop and go. I havent felt any contractions throughout my entire pregnancy (no braxton hicks). Could this be the beginning of labor? Any help would be very appriciated:)

It coulc be "back labour" that you're experienceing. Some women say that they feel their contractions into their backs.

I'm 36 weeks 4 days. I'm already dilated 2-3 cm. I've had sever lower back pain off and on for a week. I've been told they are contractions.
