Is it safe to use Clarysage to induce labour

My daughter is 1 month old and was induced i hospital 12 days over despite al my attemps to induce myself, Its supposidly not safe during pregnancy because it can start strong contractions, i had heard it worked, rubbed it on hands bump put it in the bath, snffed it,many times and it didnt work.
