I've had preterm labor with this preg. dr said after 34 weeks okay to go into labor I'm at 37 and it feels like I'm having a constant contraction? My stomach is tender and labor has been starting on and off for an hr or two and then stopping for the last few weeks. Has anyone else had this? My dr is out of the office today.. so they will probably send me to the hospital but I don't want to go if its nothing.

I started having contractions the Sunday before my son was born (4/30) I went ti the hospital May 1st in the am as they were about 4 mins apart. I was hooked up to machines and sent home as my contractions weren't strong enough. I tried everything to make them stronger and go into real labor but no luck. I ended up being induced that Wed after having contractions off and on for 3 days. I dont know if its normal but just so you know it happened to someone else. Good luck with your baby!!
