Hi, I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my first...I'm trying to figure out what labor is going to be like. I know I won't really have any idea until I actually feel it for myself...but could anyone give me their best example of what their worst contraction felt like, pain-wise? For example: 10 times worst than menstral cramps (I really hope not!)

Hi. I am 38 weeks with baby number 3. I have found that the really bad contractions feel like someone has a belt around your abdomen(really low) and they keep pulling it so tight that you can't breathe. It is about 10 times worse than menstrual cramps...sorry. But everyone is different. This time, my contractions are really just in my back and move around into my belly. Hopefully your contractions are painless! I have also had tons of contractions that I could see on the monitor but never felt. I hope this helps and doesn't scare you! Good luck to you!
