Hey all, this is my first pregnancy. I'm 4 months now and I'm starting to worry about labor pains. What do contractions feel like? Do I have to wait to go to the hospital until my water breaks? When do I ask to get the epidural? When is it too late to get it?

im sure youll know contractions when they happen, i did. You normall go to the hospital when contraction are about 6 minutes apart. make sure you phone your doc as soon as they start though, tell her how many you have had, how far apart they are and how long they last, she will tell you when to go aswell.
