I've never really been able to feel contractions before so I'm unsure of when I'm actually having them. I am due tomorrow (2/24) but I've been having contractions that are 2-4 minutes apart (from what my doctor says..I don't actually know lol) since last Saturday but haven't dilated anymore than I was already at which is from a 2-3. Today I started having really sharp pains up my back that start in my lower back and move all the way up to my head..I'm unsure of what to think of it..all I know is I can't move, talk, or do anything when I'm having those pains. Any suggestions?

maybe the baby is sitting on a nerve? i have had regular contractions on and off since week 34 and i was advised not to go into the hospital unless they become progressively worse and stronger or if i bleed

contractions can feel like back pain ........ a friend of mine was having back pain all day & my mom kept teling her she was in labor & she kept saying "no no it's just back pain" (she was hunched over her desk most the day) and she was denying it 'cause she needed to get her hair cut that night (LOL) and then come to find out she WAS in labor & had the baby that night (she did get her hair cut though!!! haha)
