Ok, well this is my first birth, I am currently 38 weeks pregnant. I had one miscarriage before this pregnancy, which I was only 8 weeks pregnant. I have PCOS, and so it has takena long time to get pregnant. Fortunatly my doctors have said that I have had the prefect pregnancy, I have actually lost weight, which I can afford to do. LOL I have been sick a couple times but everything has gone great. One thing that I have been experiencing is HORRIFIC hip pain, thorugh out my pregnancy, since I was about 3 months, when I lay down it is so horrible. I can not lay on my side at times, I can not even get myself up it hurts so bad. The doctor says "its part of pregnancy" but I just don't know. I am getting more and more back pain as the pregnancy goes on. I am scared I am going to have back labor. I plan on having the epidural. I wanted to ask for any advice from anyone for an easy and quick labor, I am still not even sure what to expect, I did not take lamaze, due to forgeting to sign up, and I know in there htey teach you waht to expect, I have read my books like a good mommy but am still anxious about what the whole experience will be like. I am due Jan 11th. So the time is drawing near. Any last minute advice? Please

Hi Heather! I have a 5 yr. old son and I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant with my daughter. Unforetunately there isn't much advice I can give you on a "quick" labor, but I can tell you that my epidural made it easy and comfortable. I was pain free up until delivery, and even when its time to deliver, the act of pushing helps with the pain. Before I went in my mom told me to trust my doctor, and have faith that women have been doing this forever. Its what we were built to do. Good luck, and don't worry.
