Brunette--we need an update, sounds like you've got tonnes of symptoms showing you're about to go into labour soon. I know what you mean about the sandpaper tongue--didn't think a pineapple could do that to you--it's like it's killing your taste buds or something. Vonzo, my hubby does them--he's pretty clueless, but we went online and did all the research we could. Most important thing is to find diagrams to know what he's trying to feel for. I tried doing them myself but with the bump in the way---it's pretty much physically impossible. Our main concern was introducing bacteria, but upon further though, and clean hands we figured during intercourse "things" go in there anyways...hope that helps. There's a site---australian birth site that has some neat diagrams. I'll see if I can find it for you and post. (;

I'm almost 35 wks and have had some really strong contractions this weekend. One was so painful and lasted for about 5 seconds but then when away. Is this Braxton Hicks or a real contraction? Are BH really painful or not?

hey Brunette--yeah man, these symptoms seem like they're playing games with us---just on the verge on going to the hospital constantly. Neasua can be a sign---grrrrr..sorry it didn't work out for you. But I must admit, I'm glad that you haven't had yours yet because I feel like all the ladies are dropping like flies--everyone is having babies!! ( I AM HAPPY FOR THEM!--just glad I'm not the only one that's still waiting--you all are so much fun to chat with) Vonzo--couldn't find the site again. The boys do seem to enjoy the internals sooo much. I never thought my hubby would be coming home and I would be like "Honey, could you check my cervix?"--ha ha, pregnancy. He keeps getting better at it too, apparently I'm 90% effaced, 1 cm dilated.--lol==AND yes, I know what you mean about feeling like a beached whale--ah man--your b___bs have turned into milk producing baby bottles, your v____a the pa__sage of life (with all the fun symptoms and things going on there)---it just doesn't feel like a s_xual body anymore! It feels like it's incubating a human being for goodness sake--not a s_xmachine. *sigh* don't worry, once the babe's born and you recovered all the s_xiness will come flooding back! (; Ha ha ha, my own words amuse me right now. Best of luck ladies---lots of labour vibes going out to all of you!!

Bit of a trek for him smileful but i'll ask. He might miss the birth of our wee one! I'll get him to train the dog up to do it and send her to you, how about that? She's that small she could probably crawl up there and drag your baby out for you hehehe. God what a scary thought, my baby's going to be bigger than my dog! My dog's only 6lbs hehehe should make for funny photo's if nothing else :o)

I am 39 weeks 5 days I have been in agony for weeks not just back pelvis bump legs etc but like the little one is swinging on the umbilical cord! I'd like to think the baby will just pop out any second with having all this pain but I know i'm dreaming! This is actually my 3rd baby i have two girls 4 and 5 but it seems along time ago and I was 5 and 6 days late with them. I've done the raspberry leaf tea the oil of primrose orally not inserted! I have now purchased my pineapples! Good luck 1 and all!
