I have had a few cfalse alarms I think mostly me listening to people and not my body so much so I don't know what to think now....
I know every person and birth is different. What are the earliest signs. This mornig I have been very crampy for the last hour...I have had back pain since Friday...I am just wondering what others have felt to know what to expect...I have a pretty high tolerance of pain. Crampy is this a contraction? i don't feel ike my belly is getting tighter (baby I can feel so it makes me feel tight already I don't know how much tighter it can get)
Thanks for your help...

trust me i know that feeling. this is my third and i keep wondering how much tighter can my belly get?!!!! i am 37 weeks how far along are you? with my first i lost my plug a few hours later started having pains in my stomach. went to hospital they told me to i wasnt quite ready yet but to go walking. it was really hard because my back hurt so bad so i went home got in a bath 30 seconds later i was in active labour. now im onmy third and have been having all the same signs and still not in active labour and it has been over a week now. but if i may make a suggestion, if you have a high tolerance for pain i would say no to the drugs with my first i had a spinal block and prolonged the labour for 23 hours and only took away the pain for 2 of those hours. with my second no drugs it took maybe 5 hours and only 2 pushes. it didnt hurt that bad i slept through most of the labour although i was alot more mean without the drugs. anyway good luck to you.

my first I kept going to the hospital because the Braxton Hicks kept coming every night regularly--and every night a little bit more intense just to keep it interesting and keep wondering. Finally, after bumpy car ride water broke and I couldn't stop laughing I was so relieved that there was no more guess work involved!
This pregnancy I feel the same crampy feelings for the last 2 days and backpain, a little bit of neasuea. I'll write back as soon as I go into labour.

If you have had false alarms, the first thing you are probably going to say when the time is right is "it's just different" At least that is what I noticed after having 3 weeks of strong bh contractions that would get as close as 5 min for 20 min then stop. Generally true labor contractions will get closer together and stronger as time goes on.

"Feeling different"? What does that mean?
Tonight I feel like I have restless leg syndrome across my whole body..IT's so uncomfortable. The contractions are coming regularly with mild cramping....is that the different? I FEEL SOOOO AGITATED. I just about bit my hubbies head off ...aAAHHAHA....insanity soon will prevail.
